It's going to be a hot weekend here in Cambridge, and we are stuck in the city.  Dreaming of this summer night a few years back.  It was hot that evening, but there was a breeze coming off the ocean, and family, and cake.

Farmer's market is now open for the season in Davis Square.  While I'm waiting for my own peonies to bloom, I bought these to tide me over.  Radishes will get sliced thin and pan fried in butter, including the greens.  Lots of butter, to be honest.  And rhubarb will get diced and cooked in a saucepan with some sugar until it's in a semi-liquid state and turns a nice pink color.  When it cools, we'll make some whipped cream to top it with.  Or maybe put it over plain yogurt.  Spring cooking in full swing.

Sunbrella outdoor pillows are in the shop!  I was really excited to find this fabric, because it reminds me so much of my favorite old french ticking fabrics, but can handle being outdoors in all kinds of New England weather.  I made a few to keep for myself!

Working on...getting these silk scarves into my shop...and outdoor pillows!  I found a great (but limited) source of beautiful Sunbrella fabric, so I'm working on a small collection of these just in time for summer and hanging around outdoors.
