over the weekend

Lots of new bags are ready to go into the shop. It's finally feeling like spring. Chocolate cake to celebrate my parents' birthdays.

late afternoon sun

I miss that late afternoon sun of the Caribbean, but the days are getting longer here now too and the sun is stronger. We saw a real octopus one day at the beach, but since I didn't get a picture of it, this pink one will have to suffice. Enjoy the weekend!

I can never resist what the beach has to offer. All the patterns, colors, and textures delight.

I've just added a few new things to my shop. I'll be doing little updates all spring. Today there are new spring scarves, a bag and some pillows. Thanks for looking!

beach bungalow

We all grew quite fond of our little beach bungalow. It was totally simple, just two rooms.
I loved the parrot tapestry in the bedroom, and the blue walls and tile.

on the beach

Being in a warm, sunny place for a week was just what we all needed. Our little bungalow was right on the beach, so the kids could play in the sand until bedtime.

We're headed off on vacation to Antigua. I'll be back in a week or so with lots of sunny pictures.
