still thinking about it

Still thinking about Amsterdam. Here are some random photos from there: all windows, looking out or looking in. It's raining here today. I love rainy summer days.

Just discovered: Puhti's blog
Liking: Esti's list of things to do in June

Amsterdam looks so nice in your photos. Although that fox in the window is a bit spooky. Ick, I'm scared of stuffed animals..

Where are you going to travel next time? Do you already have plans? We should start our summer holiday planning. My husband asks about it every day now. Still one month to decide. I'm not sure what I want. Some days I'm dreaming of Rome, and the next day it's green moorlands of Ireland.. Let's see where we eventually end up!

Hi Stardust,
Isn't that fox weird?!? I just had to take a picture, even though I felt bad for the poor fox.

I don't know where we will go next...I'm dreaming of Italy or France. But I am also dreaming of someplace like Prague, where I've never been before. My husband does the website for a bike tour company and he is trading web work for a bike tour somewhere in Europe. So maybe we'll get to do that in the fall. You are so lucky to be so much closer to all those great places...how long is your summer break? I can't wait to hear what you decide!

Hi Erin, I think you would love Amsterdam...there's so much great design there...maybe you could call it a business/research trip!

love you amsterdam pix, I hope I can squeeze a trip over there this summer! and a bike tour in europe - lovely... my favourite kind of holiday (we always try and hire bikes wherever we go)! I've been dreaming about cycling in the alps, switzerland in particular, I'd probably pass out with all that beautiful scenery around me... that and the altitude :)

Jill, my nursing leave is about to end. July is vacation (mine & husbands), and on August I'll return to work after two house mommy years.. Trying to enjoy these last months for the fullest : )

Been to Prague twice, would go there happily third time. Beautiful city! I'll be all ears to hear where you end up on your holiday, too.

Hi Andrea, yes, Ireland sounds beautiful! I've never been, even though there is some strong Irish blood running through my veins. Are you planning a trip there anytime soon?

Hey Mrs. French! Thanks!

So you are a traveling cyclist too, Famapa? Switzerland would be amazing, all those beautiful
mountains. And wow, talk about a good workout for your legs! Where else have you been by bike?

Hey Esti, I'm working on my June list thanks to you :) Maybe I'll post it on Monday...my kids will be out of school for the summer in a week and a half and I really need to get organized for the change of pace.

Karina, I want to go to Argentina sometime...I remember reading an article aboout Buenos Aires a few years back and it looked so intriguing!

Wow, back to work in two months, Stardust. It must feel bittersweet after two years at home. Will you go back to your previous job or start something new? I hope you enjoy the next few months. Will you still have time to sneak in some blogging after you go back? I hope so!!

Meanwhile, go plan a fun vacation!

Please tell me what shoes you wore as you walked and walked all over the city. I am betting on Danskos!

oh in my dreams Jill, we haven't been on a proper biking holiday, we usually go on city breaks and hire bikes and get around on two wheels, my hubby hates walking! I'd love to do a proper tour though... one day :)
