Only one left of each of these bags!  Vintage ticking zip bag.  Chambray vintage floral tote.  Floral cotton and linen tote.  Vintage ticking tote.  Great for summer travel or the beach.  I've been using my own versions of the zip bag and the totes this week as I travel around New England visiting family (you can see my travel photos on Instagram!).   I'll be in my studio next week starting work on a new collection for end of summer/early fall and will post some sneak peeks as I go along.  Summer is in full swing here.

Can't wait to visit this spot.  This weekend, I hope.  School is almost finished...just a few more days until we can officially say it is summer.

Almost time to go visit this place again.  It took a hit during a snow storm this winter, broken window and snow everywhere.  So it's gonna take some work to get it looking better.  But small price to pay for someplace so beautiful!

Cloud love.  It's beautiful and sunny today after lots of rain.
Speaking of clouds, have you ever read Cloud Atlas?  I recommend it as a great summer read!

So, I've had an Instagram account for a long time, but haven't been sure about how I wanted to use it in relation to my blog and business.  I wasn't really sure if I wanted my photos on Instagram to be public or not, since I started out taking lots of photos of family and friends, and personal travel.  But now I really get it that it's not about privacy, it's about connecting!  So, after lots of editing and trying to figure out what I want my Instagram presence to be about, I've decided to make it public and make it more about what I'm seeing around me and working on, rather than personal family photos.  If you want to check it out, I've added an Instagram link on my sidebar.  I've decided I really like the Valencia filter with a border best, at least for now.  Curious about which filters other people use.  Same one every time?  Mix it up a bit?  I guess I'll learn as I go along.  And the # stuff...still trying to figure that one out...I know, I'm very behind social media wise.

Garden is in full bloom, meaning I can pick roses and peonies by the armful.  Got to take advantage of it while it's here!  Only hoping today's rain doesn't hurt the blooms still in the garden.
New Poppytalk Market is up today and my shop is there again, with some flowery scarves and totes, along with an excellent group of new shops.
Here's a short list of goodness, however everything there is nice!
Hettle: covetable clutches and pillows
Amanda Blake: fabulous artwork
Applewhite: adorable handsewn things
Lettergirl: beautiful stamps and stationery
Gallant and Jones: blankets and beach chairs
Pillowme: because my obsession with kilim pillows never ends

And finally, to celebrate this season of flowers, I'm having a little sale in my shop this week on all things floral.  Anything with a flower on it is 20% off.  Use code FLORAL2013 at checkout.  Sale ends Sunday, June 9th.
