apples

We went apple picking over the weekend, and the weather was glorious. Now it's time to make applesauce and tarte Tatin. I love apples, I really do.

When I was a little girl it was really exciting to spy apple thieves (local baby bad boys) when they came around in autumn. Nowadays kids have much worse habits than steeling apples, I guess... NOT that I think your apples are stolen, Jill. This just aroused old memories : )

And I envy Anu trees, too.
It must be incredible to have those trees in your own garden.

I am about to post about apples too! Any good recipes? I love crumbles but kind of bored with it! We went apple picking with most kids in the hamlet with a big sheet to collect them while falling, so much fun! but I didn't get any pictures I sort of enjoy the moment... Love your last picture!

I see you all like apples too! We had to drive about 40 minutes to get to this orchard, and it was so pretty, I seriously started to wonder why I was living in the city. Now hearing that Anu has her own apple trees makes me feel a little jealous! So...I'll drown my sorrows in making apple recipes. Artycho, I'll send you a link to my favorites :)
Stardust, I like your story about the naughty apple thief boys. I agree, it seems really innocent these days.
