on the eve

It's snowing here again. Pretty, small flakes are coating the streets and sidewalks now. I've done all my errands, my children have gone to my parents for the next few days and I'm taking the day to paint my living room white and make cranberry orange marmalade. Or lacking ambition, I can always sit by the fire, drink tea and read some more. Have a safe and happy New Year's eve. See you in 2009!

Your next few days sound great to me! I took this week off from work with painting ambitions but instead did pretty much nothing. Which was kind of nice, actually! :)

I'm looking outside right now at pretty steadily falling snow myself. We'll be staying home in front of the fire ourselves.

Happy New Year! :)

It was so nice to read all your lovely new year's wishes this morning! What a wonderful way to start off my new year, realizing how many wonderful people I have met through blogging this past year. Sounds, corny, but you all truly warm my heart!!
