in the garden

The kids and I went to visit my parents for the week. It rained, it poured, but the first evening we got there was nice enough to hang out in the garden. Here's what my mom is growing this summer. Happy fourth of July if you are here in the USA!

Wow! What a pretty garden! She is so organized. I liked what you wrote in your interview about "slow production". It is such a nice idea and so true. I thought I was the world's slowest seamstress. Now I can sew slowly with pride.

Beautiful garden! Everything looks amazing. I really only grow herbs and have to do it in a small greenhouse. The weather here is too unpredictable to grow anything decently.
