fabric

I got this vintage wool and cotton fabric at the flea market this summer. I haven't been brave enough to cut into it yet. I'm just enjoying how it looks stacked up. It will be sewn into tote bags soon though. Just have to get my courage up with the scissors.
Tried on this shirt today at Gap, but it didn't look right on me at all. Too bad!

Oh - I knew that wool from a mile away! I have been completely obsessed with wool for a few years. These are gorgeous! Last year I went to an estate sale that had an entire 2 rooms of fabric, much of it wool...Pendleton wool. I only had $20 so I got some and left. I now kick myself whenever I think about that for not going to an ATM and just going back for more! Have a wonderful day today :) I look forward to seeing these totes!!

artycho, i'll post more fabric tomorrow. i can't wait to see your new fabrics too!

michelle, i love fall too...even though it's sad for summer to end, the change of seasons is great, a time for new ideas, new projects etc.

rebekah, i'm feeling jealous that you even got to see a room full of old pendleton wool! it's my obsession too, and it intensifies when fall comes around. i'm still kicking myself because i didn't buy more the day i bought this stuff too. there was a light blue gingham wool and a black cotton gingham check. what was i thinking???
