strawberry rhubarb


Busy week last week, busy weekend. But I did manage to make a strawberry rhubarb pie. It's gone now, but it was good while it lasted!

I'm working on some fun little projects this week, I'll show you in the next few days.

I've been dreaming about a summery pie like that a while now! I think I'll treat myself next weekend and make one :) Wonder if the forced rhubarb is still on season..?

Wow! It sounds so good. I haven't had rhubarb in so many years I can't even remember the last time. Maybe since I lived with my mom becuase she is the only one who made it. I still have never ever made a pie of any kind. Looking forward to what see what you've been working on.

hi everyone,
if you love rhubarb, this is a fairly easy pie to make. i used the fruit pie recipe from my old joy of cooking cookbook. i'm tempted to make another one this coming weekend.

well, these strawberries are not exactaly fresh from new england :) i think they came from california, but i just couldn't resist buying them. i can't wait for local ones though, it will be another month or two for that.
