gardening

I've got gardening on my mind for this weekend! Lucy made a list of everything she'd like to grow. Our roses and irises are blooming right now and I hope the peonies will be in bloom soon too. Hope you all have a nice weekend.

I always find those frogs in antique markets but never know what to do with them. I love the idea of putting a colorful postcard like the bird in it. Looks lovely. Love the antique flower painting as well. happy weekend to you. good luck in your garden.

I love that beautiful old painting in the photo. Hope you are doing well. So busy here, don't have time to read blogs much lately but today, I am playing hooky from my term paper and just enjoying the day.

Hope you are having a beautiful weekend, Jill. I love Lucy's list.

I'm glad you had a good time in California. I've heard Point Reyes is just breath-taking.

hi jane, that little list seemed so cute to me too...the airplane on top was added by my son...he can't resist drawing on his sister's things.

thank you andrea! hope your weekend was good too.

orange sugar home, i became obsessed with the flower frogs this spring after reading a floral arranging post on design sponge demonstrating how to use them with flowers. but they are really fun to display photos and things with too.

thank you erica! we didn't do much more than weeding this weekend, but hopefully we will plant some new things soon.

hi raina! so nice to hear from you. i know, i haven't been reading blogs as much lately either, i do miss it and feel like i need to get back out there to explore and say hi to folks. hope things are well with you!

hi maria! hope your weekend was lovely too. point reyes and environs are so beautiful! i think that's all i said on the drive there and my kids were so annoyed :) funny because i remember feeling the same way when my parents commented on scenery on family drives.

hi rebekah! we had lovely sunny weather and i threw my back out.(cleaning of all things) ouch! so not so much gardening :( but i hope we will finish it this week.

hi denise,
i think pea plants are so pretty and peas so tasty. it's one vegetable lucy and i agree on :)
