Cold week, lots more snow on the way tonight. One child home sick for the last three days. I have been knitting lots and trying out recipes from old issues of Gourmet magazine. Yesterday there was a pink winter sunset and pink tulips from the grocery store.

Your tulips are lovely. I'm just riding out the rest of January, fully ready for brighter days. It's been so gloomy, so cold!
I am home sick and one look at those tulips and I felt better instantly. Also going through old Gourmet and Bon Appetit magazines in between naps.

Anna, I hope you are feeling better today and I'm glad the tulips cheered you up :) Old Gourmet is the best, isn't it? I get Bon Appetit now, but I don't love it as much.
