We went to a family wedding this past weekend. We were a bit late having run into traffic on the way and we had to rush inside and finish getting dressed before the ceremony started outside the house. The house was empty except for us, the calm before an explosion of a party. There have been many family weddings at this place, including our own 14 years ago. I thought maybe going to this wedding would be like revisiting our own, but it wasn't. Ours stands alone in my mind as being unique to us in every way.

It looks like a beautiful space. I love the patina of the walls and that beautiful pottery.

Hi PJ, there's a lot of patina in this place, for sure! When it was built in the early 1900's the owners wanted it to feel like an Italian villa, so all the decor and furniture come from Italy. I want to go back and take more photos here :)

How nice that many family weddings took place in the same house, that must make it very special. It looks very pretty, I love the blue tiles on the wall.
