saturday evening, sunday morning

Despite the rain, we managed to do a lot of things this weekend:
Took a trip to the Museum of Fine Arts
Had Saturday lunch in Chinatown
Made bread
Taught Lucy to knit
Watched a movie with the kids
Got half way through knitting a scarf for myself
Ate pancakes
Drank wine
A good weekend overall! How was yours?

A very good weekend indeed! this is what I call a perfect one! As for me I spent saturday in town where I met two lovely fellow bloggers (kind of weird but good fun) and Sunday I spent most of the day playing with cerys, also we enjoyed a big fire in the garden at night...a lovely time!

sounds really nice, Artycho! that's great you got to meet some blogging friends. but, yeah, must be strange to meet someone for real that you only know virtually. i'm envious of your garden bonfire. that sounds beautiful! i'm really missing the country life these days. i still haven't made eva's apple pudding, but i did the recipe conversions, so i'll be ready to go this weekend :)

Yep, sounds like a good weekend to me. A few key ingredients, yes.

Mine was spent in another State, speaking of artists' books in a library.

Hi Gracia! That sounds interesting, giving a talk on artist's books...I bet the crowd enjoyed seeing your work! I worked in a special collections/rare books library for 7 years. One of the best parts of the job was working with book artists when we were buying books for the collection. I was able to see the most amazing work, mostly by women book artists. I miss that part of the job!
