We just got back from four days in New York, staying with my cousin in Brooklyn. Somehow all the small details of someone else's home are so interesting and refreshing to me. Different colors and patterns. It all seems so charming away from home.

Yes! I love the details of other people's homes. It usually makes me want to change things in my own home. But then I realize that my home has those charming bits too, I'm just accustomed to them so I don't always notice.
