So, I've had an Instagram account for a long time, but haven't been sure about how I wanted to use it in relation to my blog and business.  I wasn't really sure if I wanted my photos on Instagram to be public or not, since I started out taking lots of photos of family and friends, and personal travel.  But now I really get it that it's not about privacy, it's about connecting!  So, after lots of editing and trying to figure out what I want my Instagram presence to be about, I've decided to make it public and make it more about what I'm seeing around me and working on, rather than personal family photos.  If you want to check it out, I've added an Instagram link on my sidebar.  I've decided I really like the Valencia filter with a border best, at least for now.  Curious about which filters other people use.  Same one every time?  Mix it up a bit?  I guess I'll learn as I go along.  And the # stuff...still trying to figure that one out...I know, I'm very behind social media wise.

Arrived here from your page on etsy.... Is it possible that many years ago you had pigtails and lived in Frizzellburg, Maryland? If so, you used to play with my daughters Lauri and Kristi.

Yes! It's me and I remember Lauri and Kristi. Hope they are all well. Can't wait to tell my parents. Hope Frizzellburg is still as beautiful as I remember it being as a child.

Lauri is doing well - busy with her nursing career and her 5 sons. Sadly, Kristi passed away in Feb 2011. We miss her dearly.

Oh, I'm so sorry to hear about Kristi. You must miss her tremendously. It sounds like Laurie is doing well, so please tell her I say hello. And thanks so much for reaching out and saying hello to me! I was really touched to hear from you.
