lunch, yesterday

Baby pak choy and acorn squash from the farmer's market (all organic, yay!) sauteed with crispy shallots and a hard boiled egg. And a glass of ayran from the Turkish market. And a piece of pecan baklava in the corner there, but I didn't actually eat that. It was my daughter's left over piece from the night before. I hope you all have a wonderful weekend. The rain is torrential here and will be for the next few days. See you back here on Monday!

I don't remember there being a farmer's market in Cambridge back when I was there... Where is it?

That looks scrumptious. Are you a veggie? Sorry about the rain, especially if it's a downpour. Definitely a good time to stay home with a nice glass of wine.

Hi everyone, I hope you all had nice weekends too!

Mary-Laure, Cambridge and Somerville now have weekly farmers markets in various different squares around the city, Harvard, Union, Davis, and Central. I can walk to the one in Davis, which is great!

Hi Raining Sheep, no I'm not a vegetarian, but I'm trying to eat more veggies and less meat. I'm always on the hunt for good vegetarian recipes my whole family will like.
